The Zoom Super Fluke 5″ has been a proven winner for many years and continues to be a split-belly soft jerkbait that produces a dying baitfish action on the jerk-and-pause retrieve. The split belly design allows the bait to be rigged weedless for fishing through cover, or threaded onto a darter head, jig head, or scrounger head for a fully exposed hook presentation. On a scrounger head, pop it or swim it subsurface when gamefish are feeding on baitfish. On a darter head, work it with sharp twitches and pauses for a darting, wounded baitfish action that triggers reaction strikes. The 5″ profile matches larger baitfish (shad, shiners, golden bream, rainbow trout) and draws strikes from bigger bass. 10 per pack in 19 colors.

Key Features

• Split Belly Design Weedless or Exposed Hook Rigging The split belly allows the bait to be rigged weedless with the hook point tucked into the split for fishing through grass, laydowns, and shallow cover without snagging; the same split belly accepts a darter head, jig head, or scrounger head for a fully exposed hook presentation in open water or around sparse cover.
• Dying Baitfish Action Jerk-and-Pause Retrieve The soft jerkbait profile produces a darting, wounded baitfish action on the jerk-and-pause retrieve; on the jerk, the bait darts and flashes to one side; on the pause, it glides and slowly sinks with a subtle shimmy that mimics a dying or disoriented baitfish; the pause is often when the strike occurs as bass commit to the bait on the fall.
• Scrounger Head Subsurface Baitfish Presentation Thread on a scrounger head and pop or swim it subsurface when gamefish are actively feeding on baitfish near the surface; the scrounger heads bill produces a wobbling action that complements the Flukes soft body shimmy for a highly realistic baitfish presentation.
• 5″ Full-Size Profile Bigger Baitfish, Bigger Bass The 5″ size matches larger baitfish profiles (shad, golden bream, shiners, rainbow trout) and is most effective when bass are keying on larger forage or when targeting big bass that wont commit to a smaller profile; 10 baits per pack across 19 colors.

Color Selection Guide

Best For

• Weightless Weedless Shallow Cover & Topwater Rig weightless with the hook point tucked into the split belly and work through shallow grass, laydowns, and over submerged vegetation; the weightless Fluke sinks slowly on the pause, producing a gliding, dying baitfish action that triggers strikes from bass holding in shallow cover.
• Darter Head Open Water Jerkbait Thread on a 1/83/16 oz darter head for a subsurface jerkbait presentation in open water; work with sharp rod tip twitches and pauses; the darter head keeps the bait in the strike zone at a consistent depth while the Flukes body produces the darting, wounded baitfish action on each twitch.
• Scrounger Head Schooling Bass & Surface Feeding Thread on a scrounger head and swim or pop subsurface when bass are schooling and feeding on baitfish near the surface; the scrounger heads wobbling action combined with the Flukes shimmy produces a highly effective baitfish imitation for schooling bass situations.
• Big Bass Larger Baitfish Profile The 5″ profile is most effective when targeting big bass that are keying on larger forage; upsize from the 4″ Jr to the 5″ when bass are following the smaller profile but not committing, or when fishing waters with larger average baitfish size.
