The Jackson Pintail Sawara Tune is the evolution of the original Pintail Sagoshi Tune the first lure in the industry created specifically for Spanish mackerel. With its effortless retrieve and proven success, it has earned the trust of anglers across Japan and beyond.
Spanish mackerel have become a popular entry point into saltwater lure fishing thanks to their wide distribution and aggressive feeding behavior. Yet, venture offshore and youll find a different challenge massive fish exceeding one meter in length.
Responding to the demands of serious offshore anglers, Jackson has completely re-engineered the Pintail Sawara Tune to handle these powerful predators. Two new sizes, 105mm (35g) and 120mm (42g), expand the lineup. Rather than simply scaling up the Sagoshi Tune, the design has been fine-tuned to maintain the same flat, automatic swimming action, even at larger sizes.
Use the Sawara Tune together with the Sagoshi Tune to cover every situation from casting at active schools near shore to pursuing trophy-sized fish offshore. The Pintail Sawara Tune is built to deliver distance, stability, and irresistible motion that drives mackerel to strike.
Take your Spanish mackerel fishing to the next level. The Jackson Pintail Sawara Tune brings refined action, optimal balance, and reliable performance to every cast. Whether from the rocks or open water, this lure is made for anglers chasing big fish and bigger thrills.
