The NetBait BaitFuel HexTek Whiptail Shad is a versatile soft-plastic minnow designed to deliver subtle, lifelike action for targeting bass in clear water and high-pressure situations. Its streamlined baitfish profile is paired with a responsive whiptail that comes alive with minimal movement, creating an enticing presentation that mimics vulnerable forage.Built with HexTek Technology, the Whiptail Shad features a specialized textured surface designed to increase surface area and enhance the dispersion of BaitFuel scent and flavor. This added attraction helps trigger feeding responses and encourages fish to hold onto the bait longer, giving anglers more time to make a solid hookset.Ideal for modern finesse techniques, the Whiptail Shad excels on a jighead, drop shot, hover-style rig, or other light-line presentations. It’s also a great choice for forward-facing sonar applications when targeting suspended and roaming bass that demand a realistic, natural presentation.
