Gamakatsu 2834 Extra Wide Gap (EWG) Monster

When an angler needs a high-carbon, heavy-wire, surgically-sharp hook, they should reach for the EWG Monster. A formidable choice, the Monster is tailored to tackle any situation – from fishing Mission Fish in cover to loading up with Giant Gitzit, Double-Wide Beaver, or oversized Slug-O. It’s the go-to hook when angling for double-digit giants in El Salto, Clear Lake, or the California Delta: it offers the big-fish performance of heavy line, heavy rods, and big baits. Gamakatsu’s EWG Monster is the ultimate choice.
