Professional feedback from the field: Shunsuke Yajima – Winner of the 21st Trout King Championship: Even in the prototype phase, I used the 0.35 ES2 in competition. It offers noticeably more casting distance than the 0.4 perfect when the fish are further out. The unique flexibility and moderate stretch give me confidence even when fighting strong stocked fish. Yudai Ito – Top Champion of the 16th and Champion of the 24th Trout King Championship: “The new 0.2 size is perfect for ultralight micro-spoons under 1g I can easily cast them long distances. At the same time, the line is strong enough to handle heavier lures around 1.3g securely. Ideal if you want to target active fish at a distance with subtle lures.” Conclusion: Whether you’re aiming for precise long-distance casts with micro-spoons or want to control powerful stocked trout the ES2 Ester offers the perfect combination of flexibility, knot security, and casting distance.
