With its magnetic weight transfer system, the Lightning Pointer 100DD can be cast very far, allowing for efficient and repeated casts and jerks to the bass located using Forward Facing Sonar. The Lightning Pointer 100DD MG- S model is a sinking version with the same magnetic weight transfer system. During winter or when water temperatures are too low for bass to move from deep to shallow water, the Lightning Pointer 100DD MG-S is designed for long-distance casting to avoid scaring the bass. It sinks efficiently to the necessary depth to catch bass identified with Forward Facing Sonar.
