The CastAway Rods Croaker Smoker CS70C is the casting version of the CS70S same 7-foot length, same medium power, same mod-fast action, built for anglers who run a baitcaster for their live bait and popping cork work. Designed specifically for live bait fishing and popping corks, the mod-fast action gives the blank the limber feel needed to load under live bait weight without tearing the bait off the hook on the cast.
The 24-ton carbon fiber blank keeps the rod light and sensitive, while the graphite composite Sensa-Touch reel seat delivers direct blank feel in hand. The Grade A full cork handle stays comfortable through long days on the water, and SS304 stainless steel guides with double swag rings and CastAway’s Static Zoned guide spacing hold up in saltwater without adding unnecessary weight.
Rated for 1/4 to 3/4 oz lures and 1017 lb line, it covers live croakers, shrimp, soft plastics, and popping cork presentations from a single versatile casting platform.
