The Katadyn Gravity BeFree 3L Water Filter is a lightweight, packable gravity filtration system built for fast and effortless water purification on the trail.

Designed for hikers, paddlers, and minimalist campers, it uses gravity to deliver up to 2 liters of clean drinking water per minuteno pumping required. Simply fill the reservoir, hang it from a tree or hold it overhead, and let the filter do the work.

At its core is Katadyns hollow fiber filter with a 0.1-micron pore size, which effectively removes bacteria, cysts, and sediment from natural water sources. The EZ-Clean membrane makes maintenance incredibly simple: just shake or swish the filter in clean water to restore flow, even in the field. With a tested filtration capacity of up to 1,000 liters (depending on water quality), the BeFree 3L is built for long-term reliability on multi-day trips.

The durable Hydrapak reservoir is BPA- and PVC-free and features a wide 43mm mouth opening for easy filling from streams, lakes, or shallow sources. An integrated bail handle on the nozzle simplifies filling and hanging, while the carry strap makes trips to and from the water source more convenient. The Gravity BeFree 3L is also compatible with Katadyns EZ-Clean replacement filter cartridge, ensuring easy servicing when needed.

Compact, efficient, and intuitive, the Katadyn Gravity BeFree 3L is an ideal solution for solo adventurers or small groups who want dependable hydration without extra bulk or complexity.
