Formulated specifically for fishing reel gear trains and drive components, the Daiwa Reel Greaser wont thicken in cold water or run when hot maintaining consistent viscosity across a wide temperature range for reliable performance in all conditions. Inhibits rust and saltwater corrosion to extend reel longevity, particularly important for reels used in inshore and offshore saltwater environments.

Oil vs. Grease: When to Use Each

• Use the Reel Oiler for: Ball bearings, line roller bearings, bail pivot points, level wind pawls, and any small moving parts that require light, low-viscosity lubrication for smooth, fast rotation.
• Use the Reel Greaser for: Main drive gears, pinion gears, worm shafts, and any gear-to-gear contact points that require heavier, high-viscosity lubrication to reduce wear and prevent corrosion under load.
