This offset circle design is ideal for deepwater bottom fishing with paternoster ‘dropper-style’ rigs or standard boat fishing using cut baits. Anglers should not strike on the bite; instead, allow the fish to run with the bait. As the line tightens, the hook will naturally position itself in the corner of the fish’s mouth. This hook is excellent for ‘lazy’ rigs fished from a rod holder, as fish will hook themselves.
