Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hooks

The Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hook is engineered for seamless hook-ups, making it essential for deepwater bottom fishing. Its offset circle design is perfect for paternoster ‘dropper-style’ rigs or traditional boat fishing setups with cut baits. Unlike standard hooks, these circle hooks don’t require an aggressive strikesimply allow the fish to take the bait, and as tension increases, the hook naturally rotates into the corner of the fish’s mouth for a secure and reliable hold.

This makes Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hooks ideal for ‘lazy’ fishing rigs, where rods remain in holders while fish hook themselves. Crafted with Gamakatsu’s renowned sharpness and durability, these hooks provide superior penetration and holding power, minimizing the risk of gut-hooking fish and supporting healthy catch-and-release practices. The high-carbon steel construction ensures maximum strength, while the corrosion-resistant finish offers longevity in both saltwater and freshwater environments.
