The Lucky Craft Lightning Pointer 98XR is a premium suspending jerkbait engineered for reaction strikes from largemouth and smallmouth bass in clear to stained water. Its slender, lifelike profile and tight wobble on the pause trigger hesitant fish when other presentations fail.

The 98XR features a through-wire construction for durability on big fish, a precisely tuned internal weight transfer system for long casts, and a suspending action that holds in the strike zone during cold pauses. Available in four proven color patterns.

Best For

Largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and spotted bass in clear to lightly stained water. Ideal for late fall through early spring cold-water jerkbait fishing, post-frontal conditions, and pressured fish that need a subtle, natural presentation. Effective on points, rocky banks, submerged timber, and main-lake structure.
