Equipped with SVS Infinity, a centrifugal brake that extends the trajectory smoothly until the latter half of the cast.
For the new Antares, we explored the spool size that would make the most of these characteristics, and arrived at the design values of spool diameter 37mm and width 21mm.
The newly developed Magnum Light Spool IV, which has a reverse taper shape that corrects the line winding shape, works in synergy with the new line guide and worm shaft optimized for each gear ratio to wind the line in a regular and balanced manner, reducing spool vibration during casting.
The traditional Silent Tune and the effects of the S3D spool combine to prevent power loss during casting, achieving endless casting performance.
The new Antares delivers exhilarating casting performance and a high-quality, comfortable operating feel, making it the new flagship model of brake-equipped baitcasting reels.
