A new lineage of freestyle DC reels, designed to take on big fish with its robust construction and long-casting performance. The long-awaited DC MD joins the Scorpion series, a core component of the freestyle genre.
Equipped with the latest I-DC 5 and Magnum Light Spool IV, casting performance has been dramatically improved.
The Magnum Light Spool IV, which corrects the line winding shape through reverse taper and reduces rotational wobble, adopts the 38mm diameter/21mm width size inherited from the Antares DC MD, achieving both high line capacity and a smooth casting feel.
The new I-DC 5 controls braking force more precisely over a wider range, suppressing line troubles while enabling even longer casts.
With its tough body concealing power and exceptional casting performance, this is the birth of a new generation monster drive that takes on the world’s big fish.
