Shimano Curado K MGL 151

The Curado MGL offers the perfect balance of advanced technology, practicality, and value. The power and refinement of this low-profile baitcaster, positioned in the middle of the Shimano MGL range and primarily designed for medium and lighter lures, delivers outstanding overall performance. Maximum casting performance with medium and lighter lures, combined with enough power to handle even strong fish, makes the Curado MGL the perfect choice for those looking for a mid-range MGL baitcaster. It’s available in either the 151 model or the more compact 71 size, both offered in various gear ratios. Both reels feature proven, high-quality Shimano technologies, including the brilliant MGL spool for optimal casting performance. One thing is certain: choosing a Curado MGL is definitely a smart decision. The durable and reliable combination of a lightweight HAGANE body, Micromodule gearing, and X-SHIP gives the Curado MGL exceptional performance. These technologies, also found in Shimano’s high-end reels, ensure perfect value for money. However, it’s the MGL spool that truly sets this model apart. The MGL spool’s lower start-up resistance allows for more precise and longer casts of lighter lures, making them more effective. But the Curado MGL’s power shouldn’t be underestimated either. Despite its ability to cast light lures long distances, it also allows for confident control of hard-fighting fish. The Curado MGL’s powerful Cross Carbon drag system provides ample power to maintain control even during the toughest fights.
