The Shimano Poison Ultima is the flagship of the Poison series, having undergone further development. Utilizing the best technologies available at the time, the top of the Poison range continues to set the ultimate standard in bass fishing. For the spinning model, which strives for ultimate lightness, a bold handle structure was incorporated into the blank design, while the baitcasting model features a new design with a full carbon monocoque handle. The surface texture increases the contact area with the palm and transfers power linearly during casting. Furthermore, the positioning of the trigger grip on the rear handle improves stability during operation and grip during casting. The fusion of Spiral X Core, High Power X Double X Structure, and NEW UBD (Ultimate Blanks Design) further enhances the desired “true lightness,” improving both handling and sensitivity. In short, the “Poison Ultima” represents refined performance and functional beauty. A new legend begins with the Ultima.
We recommend the Seaguar R18 LTD , the test winner among FC lines from Japan, as a suitable line.
